This Privacy Notice explains how LiveScreen ("we", "us", "our"), operating LiveScreen (the "Service"), collects, uses, and shares your personal data. LiveScreen is the data controller for personal data processed through the Service.
1. Data we collect
- Account data — email address, display name, hashed password credentials.
- Presentation data — transcripts, asset timelines, custom uploaded assets, and speaker persona metrics (average speaking rate, style preference, vocabulary tokens).
- Usage & telemetry — device type, browser, timestamps, feature interactions, and error logs.
- Support communications — messages you send us for help.
- Billing metadata — subscription tier, plan status, and billing period. Actual payment details (card numbers, billing address) are collected and stored by Paddle, not by us.
2. How we use data
- Providing the Service — hosting transcripts and assets, running live routing, applying persona learning (legal basis: performance of a contract).
- Account management — creating your account, authenticating you, and gating access to paid features (contract).
- Security & fraud prevention — protecting the Service and detecting abuse (legitimate interests).
- Product improvement — aggregated usage analysis to improve routing quality (legitimate interests).
- Customer support — responding to your requests (legitimate interests / contract).
- Legal compliance — meeting our obligations under applicable law (legal obligation).
Speech captured via the browser is transcribed by your browser's built-in Web Speech API; audio is not sent to our servers.
3. Who we share data with
- Hosting & backend — our hosting and database providers store the Service's data on our behalf.
- Merchant of Record — Paddle — Paddle.com processes payments, manages subscriptions, calculates and remits sales tax, and handles billing-related customer support. Paddle receives your email, billing details, and transaction data.
- Professional advisers — legal, accounting, or similar advisers where necessary.
- Authorities — where required by law or to protect rights.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Retention
We keep account and presentation data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your data within a reasonable timeframe, except where we must retain records for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
5. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security on user data. No system is fully impenetrable — please use a strong, unique password for your account.
6. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where such transfers occur, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions).
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

We use essential cookies and local storage for authentication and to remember your session. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Payment-provider cookies from Paddle may apply on checkout pages, governed by Paddle's own notice.
