Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 4, 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of LiveScreen (the "Service"), operated by LiveScreen ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

LiveScreen is a live presentation tool that transcribes a speaker's voice in the browser and routes visual assets to the screen in real time. Features and limits depend on your subscription plan and may change from time to time.

2. Acceptance & authority

By using the Service you confirm that you are of legal age and, if using the Service on behalf of an organization, that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Account & credentials

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not:

  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes, fraud, or spam;
  • Infringe intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of others;
  • Interfere with the security of the Service (malware, probing, unauthorized access, scraping);
  • Reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service, except as permitted by law;
  • Circumvent technical limits, quotas, or plan restrictions.

5. User content

You retain ownership of transcripts, uploaded assets, and other content you provide. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host and process that content solely to provide the Service to you. You are responsible for having the rights necessary to submit any content you upload.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, models, design, and branding, is owned by LiveScreen and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your chosen plan. No other rights are granted by implication.

7. Payment & subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, taxes, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval you selected until cancelled.

8. Refunds

Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy. In short, you may request a refund within 30 days of purchase.

9. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately; sections that by their nature should survive (IP, disclaimers, liability, governing law) will survive.

10. Service level & warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, where such limitation is prohibited by law.

12. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

13. AI outputs

LiveScreen selects visuals from templates and your library based on your speech. Outputs may be imperfect or unexpected. You are responsible for reviewing what appears on screen and for the accuracy and appropriateness of your presentation. Do not rely on the Service for regulated professional advice without your own oversight.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which LiveScreen ordinarily resides, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer law grants you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
